Stanley Tucci opens on Marriage to Felicity Blunt and Their 21-Year Age Gap!

Stanley Tucci is opening up about his marriage to his wife, Felicity Blunt, and how their relationship changed his life. During an appearance on the May 7 episode of Open Book with Jenna, hosted by Jenna Bush Hager, the 65-year-old actor spoke candidly about finding love again after the death of his first wife, Kate Tucci.

“Well, look, I wasn’t sure that I would ever remarry,” Tucci said. I never thought I would have children again. And when I met her, it just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years.”

Tucci and Felicity Blunt, a literary agent and the sister of his The Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt, have been married since 2012. The couple shares two children, son Matteo and daughter Emilia.

The actor also has three children, Isabel, Nicolo, and Camilla, from his first marriage to Kate Tucci, who died of breast cancer in 2009.

Reflecting on how his relationship with Blunt developed, Tucci said their connection felt natural because he already knew her family well.

“Obviously, I knew her family. I knew her sister was one of my best friends,” he said. “And we just hit it off. We had a lot in common, even though we had nothing in common. And it just sort of stuck.”

Tucci said Blunt brought stability to both his life and the lives of his children during a difficult chapter.

“I think she changed my life in the sense that she gave me a sense of security,” he said. “She gave my children a sense of security.”

The Hunger Games actor also spoke warmly about Blunt’s personality, emphasizing the deep bond they have built over more than a decade of marriage.
