Jorma Taccone has shared that his experience working with Kevin Spacey on Saturday Night Live in 2006 left him feeling uneasy.
Speaking on The Daily Beast’s Obsessed podcast, Taccone said he generally enjoyed working with most hosts during his time on the show but admitted there was “one person” he wasn’t enthusiastic about.
He identified that person as Spacey, adding that he “did not enjoy” the experience and felt “very uncomfortable” around him. Taccone did not provide further details.
Taccone joined SNL in 2005 alongside Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer as part of The Lonely Island, helping create digital shorts as the show expanded its online presence.
Spacey, a two-time Academy Award winner, hosted SNL on May 20, 2006, with Nelly Furtado as the musical guest. The episode also marked the departure of cast members Rachel Dratch, Tina Fey, Chris Parnell, and Horatio Sanz. During the show, Spacey appeared in a digital short titled “Andy’s Excuse.”

In later years, Spacey faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. He denied the claims and was found not liable in a 2021 civil case involving actor Anthony Rapp.
Taccone also spoke positively about other hosts, describing Steve Martin as “gracious and sweet” and Ben Stiller as “hardworking” and enjoyable to collaborate with.
