Last night sydney Sweeney allegedly carried out a marketing stunt believed to be tied to her upcoming lingerie brand. According to footage obtained by TMZ, Sweeney and a filming crew were seen draping dozens of bras over the Hollywood Sign under the cover of darkness.

The video reportedly shows multiple clotheslines of bras being tossed over the iconic letters while the entire scene was filmed.
Sydney Sweeney and her team did not have authorization to carry out the shoot.
The Chamber stated that any commercial use or access to the sign requires prior approval, which they say never occurred.

Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Steve Nissen released the following statement:
“The production involving Sydney Sweeney and the Hollywood Sign, as reported by TMZ, was not authorized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce nor did we have prior knowledge of it. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce owns the intellectual property rights to the image of the Hollywood Sign, so that anyone intending to use and/or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber to do so. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce did not grant a license or permission of any kind to the production involving Sydney Sweeney as reported by TMZ, nor did anyone seek a license or permission from the Chamber for that production.”
Possible Legal Action on Sydney Sweeney
Sweeney could potentially face trespassing or vandalism-related charges, though no official action has been taken yet.
Eyewitness News contacted the Los Angeles Police Department, which confirmed that as of Monday afternoon, no police report had been filed.
Investigation is ongoing, says cops
Sweeney has not publicly commented on the incident, and there has been no mention of the stunt on her social media accounts.
When asked about next steps, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce responded:
“We are still investigating how and under what authority (if any) the production accessed the site.”
The bras were reportedly removed shortly after the shoot concluded.
