“He loved being Scorpio and created that character from the ground up. What was supposed to be a one-day job became something extraordinary. Tristan was a truly loyal, kind person who deeply loved his family.”
Following the news, General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini released a statement to expressing the show’s grief.
“The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to learn of Tristan Rogers’ passing. For 45 years, he captivated our audience, and Port Charles will never be the same without him or Robert Scorpio,” Valentina said.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this time. Tristan was a rare talent, and his absence will be deeply felt. May he rest in peace.”
