Mickey Lee, star of ‘Big Brother,” passed away: Big Brother alum Mickey Lee passed away on Thursday at the age of 35 after suffering multiple cardiac arrests caused by complications from the flu, according to her family.
Her family confirmed the news on Friday through a statement shared on Lee’s Instagram account. “Mickey captured the hearts of audiences across the country through her time on Big Brother,” the statement read.

“Her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impact on fans and fellow cast members. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into so many lives and for the genuine connections she made both on and off the screen.”
Earlier this week, Lee’s family launched a GoFundMe campaign to support her medical journey, explaining that the funds were needed to cover medical expenses not fully paid by insurance. As of Friday afternoon, more than $32,500 had been raised.
According to the GoFundMe page, Lee experienced multiple cardiac arrests following flu-related complications and had been listed in critical but stable condition earlier in the week before her passing.
