Talking about the box office performance of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the movie surpassed the opening-day records of the first two films in the franchise and became the highest-grossing Avatar movie ever.
On its first day of release, Fire and Ash earned $165 million worldwide. This marks the second-biggest global opening ever for a James Cameron film.

A portion of that total came from a record-breaking domestic opening. The film now holds the record for the biggest domestic opening, earning $88 million.
Audiences are loving the movie and rushing to secure the best seats to experience this James Cameron–directed 3D spectacle. In its first week, the movie is expected to cross $500 million worldwide.
