Jack Schlossberg honored his late sister, Tatiana Schlossberg, with a heartfelt tribute on social media on the day of her funeral.
The 32-year-old politician shared a series of meaningful quotes on Instagram on Monday, beginning with words written by Tatiana in her 2019 book Inconspicuous Consumption.
In the excerpt, she reflected on the responsibility of creating a country that respects the planet, cares for one another, and considers future generations.
She acknowledged that the work ahead would be difficult and possibly yield limited success, but emphasized that it was still necessary—and even added a touch of humor by writing,
“Come on, it will be fun (?).”
Jack also posted several poems centered on grief and loss, including “Crossing the Bar” by Alfred Tennyson, “One Art” by Elizabeth Bishop, “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost, and “Just a Memory Away” by Rita S. Beer.
In addition, he shared quotes from former U.S. presidents, including Abraham Lincoln and his grandfather, John F. Kennedy. One Kennedy quote read, “There are three things in life which are real: God, human folly, and laughter. Since the first two are beyond our comprehension, we must do what we can with the third.”

Together, the posts served as a moving reflection on loss, legacy, and the enduring power of words.
