Hayley Williams Surprise-Releases 17 New Songs: Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams has surprise-released 17 new songs on her website. Fans received access through a special code provided by Williams’ Good Dye Young hair dye company.
Upon entering the code, users were directed to a webpage containing the new tracks, including “True Believer,” “Mirtazapine,” “Hard,” “Negative Self Talk,” “Discovery Channel,” and “Zissou.” A “Misc” folder on the site also included a performance video believed to be from Phoenix in 2017, an image of a lyric book, and a “Hayley Williams is my favorite band” t-shirt.
It remains unclear whether the 17 tracks are standalone releases or part of a full album. Earlier this year, Williams released the single “I Like It I Like It” with Moses Sumney. She has previously released two solo albums — “Petals for Armor” in 2020 and “Flowers for Vases / Descansos” in 2021 — along with a trio of EPs.
This surprise drop follows the recent release of the deluxe digital edition of Paramore’s debut album, “All We Know Is Falling,” celebrating its 20th anniversary. The updated edition features the first-ever digital release of the “The Summer Tic” EP, which was previously only available on CD.
The re-release of “All We Know Is Falling” marks a key moment for Paramore, who parted ways with longtime label Atlantic Records in December. The band has announced plans to continue independently and has started work on new music.
